It is your responsibility to teach your children the things they need to know. Many parents are worried about the state of the world.
Parents even complain about how there not much love and compassion in the way children is interacting with one another.
Express love and compassion! Parents don’t realize that they have the ability to change the way that things are. You have to teach your children love and compassion when they are young.
If your child expresses love and compassion towards another person, it inspires that person and he also expresses love and compassion.
Become a role model! If you show love and compassion towards others, you can teach your children love and compassion. You are the role model for your children. They follow what you are doing.
Your children always observe how you are interacting with other adults and children. If you act hatefully and selfishly, your children also think that they should act in that way only.
Act in a right way! Show how to act in right way. Don’t just tell your children how to act in right way. No need to go out of your way to help others, just make love and compassion part of your personality.
As a parent, you are responsible for developing child self-esteem.
Self-esteem is a feeling of goodness about oneself.
Child self-esteem is important to the happiness and success of children.
In infant stage, self-esteem starts to develop by being around adults.
When infant enters into preschool age and kindergarten, self-esteem has a good start.
As a parent, how do build child self-esteem?
Show love! It is important to speak calmly with your children. Speaking to your children affects how he or she feels about their self. Building child self-esteem is important in their development.
You have to show love if they do any wrong thing also. You should love them, but not their misbehavior, especially if it is misbehavior.
Respect your child! Respect your child to build self-esteem. If you show respect, they think that they are important and feel self-esteem.
Help your child become self-reliant! Help your child to become self-reliant, which means to become independent. Help your child to learn responsibilities in life, in community and in home. Make him to learn that life has ups and downs, but still they can have pride and self-respect.
Good parenting is about providing warm, secure home life, helping your child to learn the rules of life, and actively listening to your child.
Active listening is one of the important factors of good parenting.
It is a big lesson to learn about good parenting but once you learn, it will be a benefit for you as long as you are a parent or grand parent.
You have to develop listening skills for your children to become a good parent.
Listen all the things! Listen to big things. Listen to small things. If your child is saying something unimportant, then also you have to listen. You find that listening is an important tool while parenting your children.
Listening takes time. If you are busy with other activities and if you start to listen while your child is talking when he is young, he will continue to talk until the teenage.

Like adults, children need exercise. An hour of child exercise per a day is must for every child.
After acquiring sufficient strength child exercise can be formed in the open air, hence your child can bear the vicissitudes of the climate.
Children should always be allowed to entertain themselves at pleasure, for that they will generally take that kind and degree of exercise which is best calculated to promote the growth and development of the body.
In the uninhibited luxury of their youthful sports, every muscle of the body comes in for its share of active exercise; and as a result it promotes free growth, energy, and health of the body.

Everyone understands that parents want their kids to read. Why you should teach a child to read?
If you teach a child to read, he will do better in school and also have better means to entertain himself without depending on television.
Books allow kids to explore far away. Most children do not simply pick up a book one day and get enthusiastic immediately.
As a parent, you should teach a child to read to make your children interested in books which lasts a lifetime.
Instill a love of reading in your child:
The trick to instill in love of books and teach a child to read is to start early. Children in early ages enjoy a book because they nibble on it, but starting a familiarity with books early is a great idea.
Reading books to your child! Some parents start reading books to babies in the womb. Some studies have shown that newborn seem to recognize the stories which were read repeatedly before their birth.
Babies will not understand the letters on the book, but they will be excited and gets attention from mom and dad. Don’t be discouraged if your baby does not care for the book. Keep trying and sooner or later your baby pays attention on the book.

- For younger child! When your child is six years or younger, he cannot look at the world from a philosophical angle. He takes things as they come and take them quite literally. If your child is having doubts about death of people, you should tell him that people who die are people whose bodies are broken and doctors are not able to fix.
- People who die are people whose bodies stop working and it is normal and natural part of life. You should not say that the person is sleeping. It will cause only confusion in your child’s mind. Even they become hurt.
Why should you want your child to be an optimist?
Children with optimistic skills have a stronger sense of mastering their lives and bounce back when things go wrong.
Optimistic people enjoy better health; have less stress and longer life than pessimistic people.
You can make your child the optimistic child and influence him towards optimism. Optimism helps your child throughout the life.
How do you raise your child as the optimistic child? There are important ways to help your child learn to be an optimist.
Important ways to help your child to become the optimistic child:
- Help your child to focus on his successes. Help your child learn self-esteem and optimism while he is young. Give simple works to do and praise your child if he succeeds in doing that work. Even young kids can succeed in simple works.
- Focus on praising the qualities that helped him to succeed when your child experiences a success. Find out whether he worked hard for the test? If you praise him for his determination and hard work, it will encourage your child to do the same for the next test.
After the delivery bringing home a new baby also includes with an exhausting array of new responsibilities and challenges which are all about your baby care.
It is obvious that every mother will experience typical day and nights with her baby care.
How to perform your baby care:
Bringing your baby to home is his/her transition from the womb to the outside world. Baby care involves, keeping the baby close to you, keep him enclosed and warm.
Babies need to be comfortable at all time they should not be too hot or too cold. Baby care clothing should suit the outside weather and also to the temperature within the house.
If you are a breastfeeding mother it will take some time for both of you to adjust as well. If your new baby is formula fed, he will need to feed every 3 to 5 hours. If you are breastfeeding, he will need to feed more frequently.
Baby care in the first few weeks after the baby birth involves, a lot of diaper changes, especially until you get familiar with his schedule. You need to change his diaper once an hour in the very beginning and will probably need to change after feeding. You need to check frequently.
Every child expects parenting advices from his mother or father.
Parenting advice to a child can be used to complete the daily tasks of your child.
As a parent it can be very frustrating to ask your children over and over again to complete their tasks without them ever getting done.
If this is the top problem in your house, consider designing a chore chart. Designing a chore chart is an effective parenting advice to every child.
This chart includes all regular tasks such as, taking out the garbage, doing the dishes, cleaning their room, yard work or putting laundry in the laundry room. Each task has to be done just once or twice a week. Other than these tasks are unrealistic.
After finishing the task your child can put a check mark on the chore chart. At the end of each week, it is very inspiring for both you and your child to look at the chore chart and easily see that each designated job was completed.
As you feel great for designing the chore list, in the same way your child will also find great satisfaction in being able to check off each chore as it’s completed. They also feel pride knowing that they accomplished a list of tasks.
Many parents are confused about what they should do when their children ask about sex.
It is absolutely normal that young children are curious about sex topics. They will try to ask questions about sex making parents initially uncomfortable.
Be open! Remember that it is never too early to educate child about sexual matters. Be open to the conversation when discussing about sex.
Your children will understand that sex is acceptable topic and they can ask you about the sex.
No need to explain everything! It is not necessary to explain everything in the first discussion.
Many parents believe that sexual education should begin at home and it can be made easier with modern media. Both television and internet help to educate child.
Educate child! Children between ages of 2 to 3 years begin to learn their own bodies. It is wise to educate child the proper names of sex organs. If you don’t teach the proper names, your child feels that there is something wrong with those parts of the body.
It is also important to educate child that no one should be allowed to touch those parts without permission. It is normal for a child to explore their body. Child’s natural curiosity is discovered by self-stimulation.
